The Dhaka Diplomatic Golfers Association was formed sometimes in the year 2012 and only golfers from the Diplomatic community could be members of the DDGA. All the Diplomatic Missions in Bangladesh had someone as the member of DDGA but the most active golfers would come from the Thailand Embassy, Indonesian Embassy, Brueni Embassy , Chinese Embassy, Korean Embassy, Vietnam Embassy , Malaysian Embassy , Bhutan Embassy and Indian Embassy.

Majority of the members of the DDGA were also members of the TGC and as such there was a very close affinity between TGC and DDGA.

H E Ms Madurapochana Ittarong was the most popular President of the DDGA and under her leadership, it was decided it was decided that all golf tournaments will be jointly conducted by the TGC and DDGA.
